The Get Savvy Podcast with Amenah Fawad
Ameenah Fawad is a virtual professional currently working for Pinnacle Insurance of Minnesota. She is a valuable part of the Pinnacle Insurance team and her daily tasks are an integral part of the agency’s mission. Ameenah mainly focuses on:
- Taking Phone calls
- Dealing with the retention center
- Taking care of pending cancellations
Since Pinnacle deals with a majority of personal lines insurance clients, Ameenah spends her time working on homeowners – renters, condos, actual homeowners, and auto personal line policies. Her job revolves around opening each policy, checking when the client was informed about the renewal of their policy, and reaching out to them before the cancellation date so they can be assisted with any sort of help needed.
Ameenah also works with slight broadcast and not only calls each client, but also regularly sends out texts and emails as well. Being proactive is everything, especially when it comes to the retention center. Clients want to know that our eyes are on their policies and that most importantly, we have their back and we’re looking for better options for them. It’s extremely important to take care of your current clients and follow up with them to remind them that their agency is looking after their safety and are concerned about their needs and well-being.
Pinnacle works with 9 different carriers. Ameenah deals with pending cancellations by going into each carrier and checking each and every cancelation notification that comes up within each carrier. Each insured’s EZLynx profile is thoroughly assessed on whether they’ve been contacted before. This, in turn, saves thousands of dollars for an agency by making sure they retain their clients, instead of investing in filling that gap with new clients and losing an otherwise loyal customer who simply missed a notification.
Ameenah talks about her hesitance with answering phone calls in the beginning. Not only was it a nerve-wracking process, but it also made her anxious and she had to constantly remind herself that the client couldn’t see her, he or she could only hear her over the phone. Nevertheless, her willingness to learn and grow has made her extremely comfortable with calling clients and answering their queries. She makes sure she makes the client feel safer and more confident in their agency and that they have exactly the answers that they were looking for.
Ameenah is a true rockstar and an asset to the Pinnacle family. With minimal insurance experience in her past, it’s safe to say that her growth over time and her knowledge of the industry speaks volumes of the success virtual professionals can add to your agency. Ameenah helps Pinnacle save a considerable amount of time that is now spent on other valuable tasks such as prospecting, marketing, sales, and forecasting future growth. Her vivacious personality and impeccable sense of humor not only help in retaining clients but also lights up the workplace and make us feel more confident about our decision to integrate virtual professionals into our daily lives.
