Web Developer (UI UX)

Responsibilities:

1. Assessment and Planning: Evaluate our current website and assist in making things fresh so that it aligns with our brand’s vision and goals.
2. Web Design & Development: Design, develop, and implement new website layouts and features using the latest web technologies. We want something that’s eye-catching but not eye-watering.
3. UI/UX Design: Enhance user interaction by focusing on UI and UX principles. We’re looking for something intuitive, engaging, and downright enjoyable for our visitors.
4. Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team (hi, that’s you!) and other stakeholders to ensure the site serves the company’s expansion strategy into new industries, states, and countries.
5. Testing & Optimization: Regularly test the website for usability, speed, and functionality. Basically, if something’s off, you fix it, and if something’s rocking, you make it rock harder.
6. Content Integration: Collaborate with content creators to ensure the website is filled with content that’s informative, detailed, and a tad bit entertaining.
7. Ongoing Maintenance & Updates: Our website needs to grow with us, so ongoing maintenance, updates, and the addition of new features will be part of your gig.
8. Compliance & Security: Ensure the website meets all legal and regulatory guidelines and is fortified against security risks.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in web design and development.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch).
• A keen eye for aesthetics, knowing what looks good, and what looks like a relic from the 90s.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, SEO best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Creative thinker, problem-solver, and ability to work well in our dynamic virtual environment.
• Excellent communication skills (because we need to know if our ideas are as wild as our current website).
